Chapter 8: A Family Affair

Here we are people on the cusp of welcoming the fourth generation of the Wolf Family Legacy. It's come a little earlier than planned, teen pregnancy and all- tsk tsk. But whilst Aarin and Troy didn't intend to be parents so soon, I'm confident they can rise to the occasion. Right?

Well I guess we're about to find out... Now sadly Aarin decided to give birth in the middle of the night in the basement, which meant she only had ghost Bonehilda for company, until she drifted off through the wall that is.

So, are we ready to welcome the new kiddie?

It's a boy!

Readers, meet Max Wolf.

With a new baby in the house I had to furnish a nursery for him, and with Aarin's sister Aafia having sadly died last chapter it seemed like it made sense to makeover her room for Max.

The day after Max was born it was Aarin's birthday, so of course a party was thrown for the occasion.

The party gave legacy founder Lylah the chance to meet her granddaughter's boyfriend for the first time, and I assume she wasn't too impressed with Troy, given the fact that she spent the whole evening booing the couple.

Oh Lylah, I've missed you.

Oh god... Perhaps instead of spending her time booing Lylah should have been keeping an eye on her Simbot boyfriend...

Bloody Bonehilda, she's always trying to seduce someone.

So anyways, family drama aside and it's time for us to watch Aarin's transition into a Young Adult.

But as well as Aarin it was also Troy's birthday, and time for him to age up.

Following Aarin and Troy's transitions into adulthood it seemed only sensible that it was time for them to get serious about their family. Consequently Troy moved in so he could be closer to his son.

And Troy wasn't the only one moving in... I've missed having a pet in the household, so I sent Aarin to the local imaginary animal shelter and she returned with our new kitty Moe.

Isn't he a sweet little fluffykins ^_^

So Troy soon settled into the house and spent a lot of his time in the home gym working on his athletic skill, whilst in the background Bonehilda continued to feel up anyone she could get her hands on- Julian being her favourite.

Seriously, I've tried keeping them apart- it's not happening.

Before long it was time for Max's birthday, and he grew into a lovely curly-haired toddler.

Aarin immediately began to start teaching Max his lifeskills, but she wanted to do more than just teach him to walk and talk.

Now Aarin was a mother she needed to provide for her son, which could just mean getting any old job, but Aarin didn't just want that- she wanted a career. There was only one place to go to try and achieve that...

Welcome to University.

When I originally envisigned Aarin going to university it was supposed to be with her sister Aafia, but since Aafia died I decided that Troy would just have to do as a substitute.

And Bonehilda came too, just because.

So with the trio all set up in a nice house I sent them to check out the goings-on in the student union hall.

Aarin and Troy immediately got into the university spirit by playing a bit of ping pong.

Meanwhile Bonehilda got chatting to one of the campus hotties, and that's when I discovered something interesting...

Ever since Bonehilda was munched by a cow plant and brought back to life she has been blighted by an unfortunate condition. All she thinks about is romance, however she has never been able to actively pursue it due to the fact that a glitch makes everyone completely forget she exists the minute she stops talking to them.

At university however... the glitch is gone.

Bonehilda soon took full advantage of this fact.

Perhaps a little too much...

And Bonehilda wasn't the only one acting inappropriately- apparently it was something to do with the full moon but for whatever reason Troy decided to try to embrace some random dude. How very odd...

And when the night drew in the oddness continued when Aarin was accosted by a zombie whilst gardening at home. Eesh.

Fortunately Aarin survived the attack, and in the morning headed out for her first full day of classes, and doesn't she look thrilled about the concept?

So I would imagine you'd like to know what degrees everyone is taking yes?

Aarin is taking classes in the Fine Arts, with a particular interest in building her cooking skill (with a bit of mixology thrown in for funs).

Troy is pursuring a degree in Physical Education, and is working hard to improve his athletic skill.

And Bonehilda is also taking classes in Physical Education.
I really don't know why I chose this degree for her considering she doesn't even have any muscle...

But whilst obviously education is important, who are we kidding? Partying is where it's at! To fully ingratiate themselves in the university life, Aarin and co. threw a good old fashioned juice kegger.

Oh geez... We've barely begun and already Troy has had too much to drink...

WAYYYYYYYY too much. What the hell man? I can put the 'lunatic embrace' on the first day down to the moon, but what excuse is there for this?

I know Aarin, I know.

I know people say that university is a time to experiment, but I didn't expect Troy to be quite so keen to drive stick.

He and Scot do look quite cute together though... I mean- no, this is unacceptable behaviour!

Inside the house Aarin decided to deal with Troy's behaviour in the most mature way possible, by flirting with someone else. Unfortunately the someone happened to be Bonehilda's new boyfriend Hank, and it happened right in front of Bonehilda herself.

Errrr, that's not how I expected her to react... Apparently Bonehilda wasn't too bothered about Aarin flirting with her man, she was more interested in taking photos of the delicious Hank.

But one person who was bothered was Troy, who had returned inside after his time spent gazing at the stars with Scot.
How he thinks he has any right to be annoyed is beyond me...

But it doesn't appear that Aarin's brief flirtation with Hank has had any affect on his relationship with Bonehilda, so that's something. The duo remained completely infatuated with each other, and soon sloped off upstairs to enjoy some alone time.

Meanwhile Aarin stayed downstairs and poked fun at naked ginger people.

So the day after the party things returned somewhat to normal, with Troy and Bonehilda attending their first class of the day.

Meanwhile Aarin spent the morning learning the street art skill.

And what of the relationship between Troy and Aarin? Well, to be honest it was completely fine.

Although I did catch Aarin being unusually mean to some random people, so maybe she's just deflecting her anger elsewhere...

*sigh* At least I have Bonehilda and Hank around if I ever want to witness a healthy and happy relationship.
Who'd have thought a ghost skeleton would represent normality in this legacy? Things really are going to pot...

So the next evening- perhaps against my better judgement- I threw yet another party for my little Simmies.

AND BOY DID I REGRET IT. What the hell Troy!

And just when I thought things couldn't get any weirder one of Aarin's friends randomly turned into a zombie and began to attack Hank. I kept an eye on him though and made sure he wasn't nommed too badly, and whilst this was going on guess what else was happening?

Oh for fucks sake. But maybe it's innocent eh? I mean, Troy is a sports professional after all, maybe it's just physiotherapy right?

...Right?

Eep...

Er, Aarin? You might want to get yourself upstairs and do something about what's going on in the spare room..

FOR FUCKS SAKE NOT THAT!

I despair of my Sims, I really do. After serenading Troy and Scot with her cello Aarin just ended up wandering off to play some juice pong.

She reallllly should have stuck around...

In Bonehilda's bed as well! For shame.

It was only when she heard the creaking of the bed springs did Aarin realise that maybe something was up with her boyfriend and his new buddy. Now the only question that remained was- just what was she going to do about it?
